NOTICE: THIS VERSION HAS BEEN
TESTED IN A REAL PSX, AND ALSO IT WORKS FINE IN BLEEM AND PS-EMU PRO.
IF YOU WANT TO MAKE TEST USE VERBATIM CDRW (only
for SCPH 7502 and uppers)
MAY THE PSX WONT RECOGNIZE THE CDRW AT FIRST
-Cdgen
.Don´t
forget to put the CD-Gen files in a folder named DISK1.
STEPS: 1.-
Using Cdgen
you can select the files that will be in the CD, and the data ypes of them
(data, or Xa). The exe file you want to load must be renamed to PSX.EXE
in the root directory.
Also if you know the stack position
of your exe can use a file named System.cnf, that is similar
to Autoexec.bat on the Pc or startup-sequence on Amiga.
BOOT = cdrom:SPECCY.PXE;1
If you don´t put the system.cnf
and you want to see the Cd information on Ps Emu Pro, the emulator will
hang.
When you execute CdGen you shouldn´t
change Application and System Identifier, it should
be always = PLAYSTATION.
2.- Using CCS2CTI,
we´ll convert the *.ccs previous file in a *.CTI
file), for using it with BUILDCD.
Usage: CCS2CTI FILE.CCS
You´ll obtain FILE.CTI
3.- BUILDCD
will make a CD Image but not Iso.
This will compile all the files
and will repair the scripts errors.
4.- Now you have to use STRIPISO
that convert BUILDCD images to ISO, with the sector size
we want, 2336
5.-To solve that trouble you need
an image of the first 16 sector in 2336 format.
6.-DiscJaggler
seems to work right. You only have to choose the Track Image option and
use your new ISO. The new CD have the same structure of a Playstation
normal game..
Don´t forget to test the
exe´s that you´re going to burn with Ps-Emu, you´ll could
to burn a Cd with non Psx normal exes.
or the result
of 10 hours of opening and closing windows

Programs that you need:
-ccs2cti.exe
-buildcd.exe
-stripiso.exe
-Exefixup.exe
-WinOnCD
(The final ISO could works fine with others packages but I don´t
give you any warranty)
System.cnf example:
TCB = 4
EVENT = 16
STACK = 0X801FFF00
Inside Additional Information,
System Area you have to write the name of the Psx Cd boot file, (the
file that Psx uses to recognize the country of a Cd), It have to be a image
file of the first 16 sectros of a Playstation game extracted in Xa Mode.
I used 2336.DAT (extracted from Pocket Fighter with CDRWin)
When you finish putting the files
and directories (using Put file, in Directory mode), you have to
save the strcuture as *.ccs.
When you put a file a open is
opened, don´t worry, It seems to be normal.
Usage: BUILDCD -INAME.IMG
NAME.CTI ( The I letter isn´t a mistake)
Usage: STRIPISO NNNN NAME.IMG
NAME.ISO
NNNN=size
If you use the S option
STRIPISO should use the first 16 sectors but after triying everything I
didn´t obtein right results so don´t use IT.
Then you have to do:
COPY
/B 2336.DAT+NAME.ISO CD.ISO
Now you have a standar Iso image
that can be used with many recording packages.
